The senders of these letters (including Interac Universal Promotions) are not known or authorized by United Instruments, Inc., and their letters enclosing checks issued under our names are not legitimate, and those checks are fraudulent and void. United Instruments, Inc., and its affiliates have not participated in any scheme of gift, prize, bonus or other reward referred to in any of these letters and do not accept, and disclaim, any responsibility to any individual, company or institution for any loss, damage or cost suffered in attempting to cash or negotiate any such fraudulent checks or otherwise following instructions set out in such letters.
